Rainbow Bend State Recreation area is located a short drive from Amishville. A picturesque covered bridge and a canoe launch can be found there. Indiana author Gene Stratton-Porter's childhood home is located in the town of Geneva. A fine golf course and a unique lakeside water park are nearby. If you are interested in camping at Amishville, please use our on-line reservation form in order to make reservations. We operate the campground from April 1 until October 31 each year.

Tips and hints for saving a few dollars when camping here:
1.) We honor discounts from Passport America .
This discount gives you 1/2 off of camping on Monday through Thursday nights all
season long on sites other than Full Hookups. You can actually make up the cost
of the membership in one four night stay here.
2.) Everyone is upset about gas prices. Even us!
